Through my trials and tribulations, I have been running into many repo problems, and the terminology I'm not to familiar with. Also I just want to learn as much as possible on something I love and grew up with

Hi, I'm Miklós (in English Nicholas) from Hunrgay. I'm 38, mairred, with two son. I'm a freelance translator (books and films from English to Hungarian), comedy writer and performer.
Star Wars was a huge experience when I was a kid. In Hungary it was especially a huge thing since we was more or less isolated from the western world. First I collected SW calendar cards and pictures. First I started to collect loose figs around 89-90. I had about 60-70 figs as a child, all loose. Some of them lost since then. Then I packed them away. I restarted colelcting about a year ago. To my big surprise it turned out that I have a Yak Face. I bought him when I was about 14, and never knew what I have till recently. he is my moth valuable piece in the collection.
About a month ago I got my first MOC, a RTOJ Klatuu. I was quite happy since I never had a cardback not to mention a MOC fig.
However I keep collecting loose figs because I like to touch them, to relive my childhood. If nobody looks even play a little with them. Only vintage at the moment.
Don't havea Focus yet, mainly for financial reasons, but if I will start one, it will be Tie Figther pilot.
My favourit figs: Tie Fighter Pilot, Bespin Luke, Hoth Han, Droopy, Dengar, Skiffguard Lano, Squidhead, Jawa.... and all the others. lol

And yes, I cried a bit on the new trailer.

I grew up in an angry home and SW was a great escape to cope with home life, but I loved sic-fi/fantasy even before SW, so it was a natural attraction-the greatest sic fi movie ever and the best toy ever, too many reasons:)

Originally from Manchester UK but now living on the West coast of Scotland, 39 years old and the usual grew up with SW being an integral part of my youth and subsequently into adulthood.

Only recently got back into collecting again after finding a half dozen loose figures from my childhood when I was moving only for them to have vanished again(I'll find you!) and have been an active member of SWFUK for the last few months and enjoying my small but growing ROTJ MOC collection while my bank balance heads in the other direction and decided to spread my wings onto a few other forums.

After I stopped collecting soon after ROTJ and a few other cartoon/film franchises I found video gaming a new way to live out my SW fantasies not that I hadn't already been into gaming, Spectrum 48k, Atari 5200 etc, etc but the new generation of console and PC gaming led me on many an adventure with SW Galaxies still being my most beloved but now waiting for Battlefront 3 and whatever else Bioware/Dice throws at me!

Also attending my first ever convention next year and looking forward to the next decade plus of SW fun and games!

Hope to learn something from y'all and contribute a little and maybe pick up the odd something or other!

CE3 and my first ever trip to London as well, got the 3 day pass so I'm sure I can add a little sight seeing to the weekend! Hope we get a good turn out of stars would literally man wee myself if I got to meet some of my heroes, they all seemed in good form (new and old) at Anaheim, so just hoping it's at least half as good!

Cool! I'm really hoping to get there too. At least for one of the days. The last convention I went to was six years ago  Will be great to finally meet some TIGGERS and visit some family
