Thanks, he's coming along great - he just about started to walk - with the help of his walky thingy. He hilarious and make us laugh all the time. Yeah ouch - I didn't sell-off that long ago, but I'm going to need to rob a bank now if I am to buy back any of it. |

Glad to hear from you too! Yep the star wars bug is definately back! Misses is going mental at present as she just gone to take some Ironing into the back bedroom to put away and realised I have been ripping apart the wardrobes (closet for our US friends) and pulling out what was left of my collection which survived the purge! Got some new purchases arriving soon - so lookingforward to sharing those too! |

| Hi, my name's Jay. I've been collecting Star Wars on and off since my car boot days at uni in Nottingham Trent in 1997.
I had to sell most of it off in 2006 when I moved in with my then girlfriend in her pokey one bedroom flat in Stoke Newington.
Started collecting again in 2014 when I sat opposite a Star Wars nut in my new job. Been trying to piece together a complete set of mint figures ever since.
Earlier in the year lost my job and went freelance. With the spare time I started off selling my doubles and trebles and was going to pack in the collecting, but got the bug again and have continued to upgrade and nearly completed the set.
Recently I've been getting into Poch and PBP figures. Just bought a copy of Javi's book "Star Wars Made in Spain Comprehensive Catalog". Awesome. |

| Welcome Jay. Javi is awesome and if you continue down the poch/pbp road I highly recommend asking what he may have to sell. He is a trusted seller and knows his product. many figures on ebay end up being faded kenner or not what they are advertised as so finding a good trusted source is key for these lines. |

| Absolutely, my dealings with Javi over the book have only increased my awe and respect for the guy. Though I do love the enjoyment gained seeking out and getting hold of a rare variant undiscovered on eBay for a great price.
I never back the favourite in a horse race, always the long shot, with a little something special going for him, that I've spotted while researching. The thrill of the chase! |

| Welcome Jay!
Getting up at 5 to go to the Car boot sales brings back memories for me too. I never got anything mint when I used to go in the early 90s, but you could pick up some decent figures if you were lucky and early. I remember trying not get excited if I saw something, or pretend I was interested in something else so that the seller didn't ask for too much or suddenly up the price. I got a newspaper clipping somewhere, where a guy picked two Yaks for a 50p or something.
I have been out of the collecting for a while... can you point me to where you can buy Javi book? |

| I just sent a PM to Javi on Facebook. He said he rarely uses the forums at the moment. He did have a few copies left.
Just search for Javier Ruilopez.
The Facebook for his page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/STAR-WARS-PBPPoch-Comprehensive-Catalog-1396708397293772/
The Inside PBP interview is really fascinating. The book itself is really well designed by Jose M Arosa. And the wealth of knowledge and expertise is astounding. Can't recommend it enough if you love the Spanish line. |

| Hi, Firstly i would apologise about my american language which is terrible, fortunately for you all, you don't have to ear my accent. My name is Steph, 44 yo, married, i live at Brest France. I work with people with disabilities, elderly people to help them in their daily lives at home. Star wars is the first movie i saw in a cinema. I was 7 at the time and i told to myself, Big tv screen. Since then i am mad about that universe. I am here because that community is very famous on the net and you all do a great job to help people with their collections to avoid fake item. I hope to finish quickly my collection because i stopped my researches around 10 years ago and prices now are really insane. Fortunately i almost see the end. collecting interest : the 96 loose vintage figures from kenner + some extras like max rebo band, wampa, blue snagg and a few ships looking for : a blue snagg
Thanks all, regards
Steph |

| Welcome Steph. Paul (artoodetour above this post) is also from France. There is an entire French side of star wars but I don't collect it. Search out stephane faucourt (may have butchered the spelling) and see his book. The Miro Meccano line is what was released as star wars over there and he has covered the line extensively. |
