Subject: Few variant ships Ledy and Palitoy? Thu Jan 22, 2015 3:01 pm
Hi,
Just need confirmation that these are what I think they are:
Please see the photos and let me know what you think.
I believe this to be a ledy Y wing, is the Made in Mexico sticker enough to identify it?
This one is the same kind of ship however the made in mexico sticker has rubbed off.
I believe this to be a palitoy B Wing says GM UK on the bottom:

I am sure some guys here can answer the question for you, but I think it is best to know what you have before you just throw it up on eBay labeled as such.

This version of the Y-Wing was produced in Mexico (probably the General Mills factory in Tijuana). This version has been confirmed for the European bilogo box.

Here's one from a recent auction showing the "Made In Mexico" sticker on the box, something missing from the POTB entry... oops just re-checked the POTB entry and the stickers there

Indeed that is a Lili Ledy Y-Wing.
You can see the typical Lilu Ledy sticker (white label with black text written in spanish) underneath the cockpit.
I tend to beliief the Lili Ledy version of the Y-Wing is produced in the Lili Ledy factory, whereas the Made in Mexico Y-Wing is produced in the Genersl Mills factory. Not sure however, would be great to get some more insight on this topic.
