Guys we have thrown the idea around and we want to get this going.  As of yet, we haven't chosen someone to run it, but it will likely be John, AJ, or myself (others are tied up on other projects).  

For those that don't know how the secret Santa works basically we get everyone to do a wish list confirming they are in for the exchange, the wish list is locked up after a certain time period, you are given the name of one person who is on the list to send them an anonymous gift.  The gift sending limit is around $50.  

I will make a separate wish list thread in the off topic section and link it in this post.  For now please sign up in this thread and begin your wish list in the other one and one of us will send you a pm to get the address information.  Please understand if you sign up, someone else will be getting you a gift so don't forget to get theirs.  Also in order to be more efficient I think we can lock the wish list thread around October 15th as that is a month from today, and that way hopefully all presents can be bought and shipped out by November 15th.  This will allow adequate time for everyone gifts to make it around the word in time for Christmas.

I will be frank with you, I am on an iPad and trying to post pics is damn near impossible with this freaking thing. Feel free to add some pics anyone who wants. Ok, I got the green light that I am running this secret santa so if everybodys stuff gets messed up.....to bad.  

Guys this should go without saying, and I tried not to make to many rules to the post, but I just heard a horror story about someone receiving a reproduction piece and a paint touched up piece.  I will be placing a rule in the first post but please avoid things like this.  This story wasn't from TIG, but we don't want that type of thing to happen.  Of course accidents do occur, but please attempt to be vigilant as we are an anti repro site.

I love getting vintage goodies in the mail and surprises.  With two great things in one I have to participate.

I know some of you have already gotten your wishlist going. Please don't forget to jump over there to fill out what you may want as a gift. I will be locking down the wishlist thread on October 15th so after that date it will be to late. Once I lock that down, I will compile a list of the participants and give people their secret "child" to get a gift for.
