| Now that he has shared what he got, I have a bit of confession. Remember this post: - trappedtexan wrote:
- Do we have any members in Sweden who may want to do th secret Santa? Got another last minute add on and I am not sure it can be done by someone out of country with buying, receiving, then resending and we are down to like 30 days. Gonna give it a shot by hoping someone in country might want to try so it is a bit easier and doesn't have to go through customs a bunch of times. If someone is let me know via pm ASAP please.
No one got to me so I didn't want Rawlin to miss out so I chose to do his secret Santa. I don't think he knew it was me so I didn't want to say anything until he had opened his package. He can say if he was able to figure it out before hand, but from some of the pm messages I don't know if he knew it was me so I was trying to be secretive about it. I really wish I had more time, but as it was last minute I had to do a quick eBay round of buy it nows so didn't have the ability to get all carded like he wanted. Literally no carded amidalas that were buy it now when I did this. Sorry that one is loose man. I really tried, but was worried if I had to do an auction I couldn't get it in time for it to make it to Sweden. So glad it made it to his brothers house and even more glad he seems happy with them. I will open mine on Christmas Day with the family here as that's when we do it. I will get back here with some picks of what I got ASAP. Normally we don't share who the Santa was, because it makes it cooler that it was a surprise, but I want to be able to share what I got here later so I can't really do that without revealing it anyway as everyone thought I didn't get in. Also not to hard to figure out so he probably knew, I mean my signature says my name and my username has texas in it that was where it was shipped from. I really wasn't going to do the secret Santa as I was in learning mode, but glad I got to participate. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Andy, I can't wait for you to show pics. One of the cool things about running this was I had a few guys who shared what they got and your Santa was one of them. It is such a genius idea and a really unique thing. Gosh it's hard to write about how awesome it is without spilling the beans. Show the pic of it already......... So far all of the stuff has been awesome. Hope everyone loves what they got. _________________________________________________ Bryan

Thanks man You saved my christmas, except for a package of underwear and some homemade candy this was the only christmas gift I got! I thought it was another guy that was late into this so I didnt realise it, even though now afterwards it is very obvious It was very little time so mine was also rushed. The Force Awakens Stormtrooper was on top of the list, and I wasn't expecting to get that No worries about the loose amidala, it's now the first figure I got in my cw collection that isnt moc or that I have not opened myself. I believe you open your presents today in USA, Merry Christmas and hope you have a great day! |

| Very pleased with my haul The vintage collection R5 I've nearly bought many times it didn't for some reason. I don't know a lot about the little R5, I think it was a con exclusive. The awing pilot is a beaut and an upgrade to mine. Cheers Santa |

| Ok, I have a second between my wife and kid playing with their presents so figured I would share the awesome bounty I got. Here is the unopened package I recieved. Next is a couple of pics of me opening and showing some contents, then I will get down to describing what I got. Now a few close ups of the candy items. I am going to try to guess what some of them are in comparison to U.S. products of similar items. I think these things are chocolate bars, probably closely resemble Hershey chocolate bars. Next up is some kind of fruit jelly candy, probably like chewy lifesavers candy we have. Next is a marshmallow looking type of candy, assuming it is similar to peeps the marshmallow chickens. Last candy I have no idea. It is little black stars covered in sugar crystals with a picture of a monkey on the package. This is the neatest of the candies since I have no clue what it is, but the monkey is awesome. Lastly the four little red wrapped packages. This is before opening. Wonder what they could be...... They are vintage figures of course. A nice lobot, emperor's royal guard, lando bespin, and a nice fett. Thanks to my "secret Santa" for all these goodies. Now to try the candy. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Djungelvrål is my fav though it might not be for everyone, it is one of the Swedish candies that people usually want to try out though. Glad you liked the lot, sorry about it being so rushed Since I missed writing a list here is a spoiler. Daim is a chocolate bar, pretty hard candy. Ahlgrens Bilar means Ahlgrens Cars. A soft candy, maybe marshmallow. U can easily empty a bag in no time. Jule Nisse is a marshmallow santa. Djungelvrål, "Djungle howl" maybe. I leave that one for you to find out yourself. |

| I've been a little quiet of late but I'm still kicking about and couldn't miss a opportunity to thank by SS and wish all you guys a Merry Christmas So thanks to SS for the overstock Lili Ledy Han Trenchcoat, Rancor Keeper heads and a small army of C-3PO arms. I might send one of the latter to JJ as C-3PO seems to be suffering from a red arm at the moment!! As for the rest of my folks, they managed to get me this small collection of SW goodies, by little bro even managed to get his hands on a near mint PBP luke x-wing pilot! _________________________________________________ * Wanted: Lili Ledy, Glasslite, Meccano, Kenner Canada Instruction Sheets, $$$$ waiting!! * Visit My Vintage Paperwork Limelight Click Me! * To Visit The Glasslite Guide & Discussion Thread Click Me! | Awesome ledy overstock pieces. Andy your Santa did a fantastic job on that display. so good that when he showed it to me I had to ask for detailed making of pics to maybe attempt to copy the idea in the future, unfortunately I am not as talented as him. Stef, that's an awesome haul yourself, and congrats on that pbp Luke. Hard to tell, but looks like the emblem on the helmet (at least on one side) is in near perfect shape. And very neat to get other stuff as well. Larry those are awesome baggies. I think I have seen it discussed before, but don't recall a picture showing the lettering of the different countries where the micro could be produced. _________________________________________________ Bryan

Thanks Bryan, It certainly is a fantastic job by Santa(and very generous) I am absolutely over the moon with it I've proudly shown it to everyone entering my house today and tried to explain why it means so much to me as a Lando collector My crappy pics don't do it any justice, I'll try and take some better ones Great gifts everyone, have a great Christmas and New year |

| There are some great SS gifts being shown here, the Secret Santas have really put some thought behind them. I'm ecstatic about mine! A sealed Ewok Teaching Clock, I can't wait to display it next to my other Preschool Ewok pieces! He also included a US 77back Vader cardback, a Vader Pez and some candies too. I love it! A huge thanks to my Winnipeg Santa. |
