I recently purchased an AST-5 from a member on RS. As I was looking at it I noticed some numbers that appear to be stamped with ink on the inside. They are on the inside in the nose. They read 1A 3343. This is the first mini rig I have owned so these may be nothing unique. What are the numbers for? It's got an 83' date stamp and made in Macao COO.
I tried to get a pic but the numbers are in a hard to get place.

I am not familiar with the production process of these but I wonder if its a quality control stamp of sorts. Maybe to show that they picked up one toy, examined it to make sure they were being put together properly, and then boxed it up with the rest of the completed toys.
Anyone have an AST-5 who would be able to look to see if its got a stamp as well. I will have to check my rebo piano and see if its got a stamp on the bottom.
