Dak was Luke's gunner and they were shot down before they had an opportunity to deploy the tow cable.
Craig- I totally remember reading an article where the Actor who played Janson said it was ironic that he was trying to "destroy himself" while playing the dual roles.
I got the bug some years ago to look into some of the other Rebel pilots- when I was younger my brother and I always joked about "Porkins"-(we found the name humorous) as in Jek Porkins who was Red 6 in A new Hope attacking the deathstar.

| Greetings all you fellow Starwarsians out there... it's Monday and we all know what that means... it's time for a new Question of the Week! That's right... I'm still cranking them out because you all enjoy being stumped! LOL Remember the rules... no cheating by using Google searches or Siri to find the answers. If you really need to look it up, you can go back and watch the movies but that's all I will allow! Answer off the top of your head from you fandom knowledge that has permeated our culture for over 40 years! So without further ado... here's this week's question... Question 57: What was the saga's most repeated line?- Answer:
-
"I got a bad feeling about this" - It was repeated by the most actors the most amount of times. Every single Star Wars live action film has this line spoken by one character or another, sometimes multiple times by different characters. Most of the main cast has gotten to take a crack at it. Lando Calrissian is one of the very few who hasn't.

| I don't quite understand the question. Are you asking for a line that is repeated in the movie (as in by the actors) or a line that people may repeat as they reference star wars? I feel like it is the second that your looking for. With that in mind...... I think it is either "use the force", "I am your father", or never tell me the odds"; if what your looking for is a line repeated within the movies I think it has to be "use the force" or "may the force be with you" as I can't think of any other lines that got repeated (or even if those did exactly). _________________________________________________ Bryan

| My imperial credits are with Schwartz! Even Han says "May the force be with you" when Luke says good bye to him in Yavin.

| Its "I have a bad feeling about this" which is pretty much in all the movies and cartoons.

| Ittttttttttttttttttssssssssssssssss Monday and we all know what means... it's TRIVIA TIME! That's right... a new trivia question for this week... You all know the rules... No cheating by going to google, or asking siri or alexa... and if you don't know what those are, even better! Now... let's get to it shall we... Question 58: Which battle does the Star Wars timeline use to indicate time division?- Answer:
-
Battle of Yavin - Thanks to Rogue One, we now know what the Rebels' "first victory" was, which was first mentioned in the original Star Wars movie's opening crawl. The Battle of Scarif was instrumental in acquiring the secret Death Star plans for the Rebel Alliance; plans the Rebels used to destroy the planet-killing space station in the Battle of Yavin (the battle in A New Hope). That one act of blowing up the Death Star was the catalyst for the Alliance's rise and the Empire's fall. That's why the entire Star Wars timeline uses the Battle of Yavin to indicate time division. For example, the Battle of Hoth takes place 3 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin).

You always see BBY and ABY when they refer to events. Before Battle of Yavin, After battle of Yavin.

| Well folks it's that time of week again and we all know what that means... it's time for a new question! That's right, each week I put your Star Wars fandom to the test to see just how much of a fan you really are. Now the rules are simple. To prove your worthy to call yourself a true Star Wars fan you should be able to answer these questions off the top of your head. Checking the internet for the answer isn't allowed. That would make things too easy! So no googling for the answer is allowed... but you can go back and watch the movies for your answer. I dig up questions from all the actual movies and DVDs (sometimes I find a rather good one hidden in the behind the scenes clips or even the specials about the making of the movies to keep everyone on their toes!). I made it far too easy for you all last week... This week, I'm really gonna put you all the to test. I'll be highly surprised if anyone knows this one. If you don't know it, and have to look it up online, don't post the answer, just say something like "Had to look that one up!"... So... remember the rules and see if you can figure this one out! This is a two parter... gotta get both parts right to be considered correct! Question 59: Most Ewok lines were inspired by the Kalmuck spoken by nomadic tribes living in Central China and some Filipino Taglog. There is only one Star Wars character that is actually speaking a non-English Earth language. Who is this character and what language do they speak?- Answer:
-
If you listen to the Return of the Jedi DVD audio commentary, sound designer Ben Burtt explains that most alien languages were a mishmash of different Earth languages. The only exception to this is Lando Calrissian’s Falcon co-pilot in Return of the Jedi, the Sullaston named Nien Nunb. His dialogue is translated directly into the young actor who played him’s native language: Kikuyu, the dialect of Kenya’s majority tribe in 1983.

| Initially I was thinking jabba, but bib fortuna and c3po speak to him so that would make 3 speaking that language. I think I am gonna go with greedo. He seems to speak a seperate language and is the only one I think speaking it. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Tough question, so I'll guess the Bothan spy speaking in an obscure Russian dialect. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

For some reason I remember someone asking me a similar question and they said it was Nien Nunb but I haven't a clue what language he is speaking.
