I remember back in 2011-12 thinking that $50 for the pop-up saber was egregious. I noticed a pop up saber recently sold for $250-ish on eBay.

Still need one for my DROIDS R2... woulda, coulda, shoulda!

In 2006, I bought a mint sabre for the Pop-Up R2 that my best mate from school gave to me from his childhood.

The sabre cost me £20/ $14. The guy sent it to me in small envelope, which because I was busy finishing my thesis, I just left on top a bookcase with loads of other mail.

Sadly a few days later I forgot about the sabre in the envelope and during a weekend clean-up, it went out with the recycling with all the other opened mail and papers. It weeks before I remembered and so sadly way too late to dumpster dive.

I’ve always been meaning to get another replacement and I haven't really kept track of the price.
