We are the only board that doesn't have a conversation going about the upcoming auction from Sotheby's auction house from a fashion/clothing guy. Here is an article about it.
Does anybody think they may go for something? I figure since every other major board is talking about it, this isn't really outing anything. I am really wanting the Canadian takara walking r2 but afraid this will go well above market so am not planning on bidding. Lots of really great items in it.
If someone feels that putting this here is outing something I can remove it, but since it is pretty much everywhere except our board I figure most of the big players for these items has likely already seen it.

I'm going for a couple of items but I seriously doubt I'll win them.
To quote some random movie

A lot of really great items... Good luck to all of those who plan to bid.
This auction will attract the casual collecting 'whales' and I imagine most (if not all) of the items will sell at a very inflated premium. It'll be fun to watch...

I wish I'd not looked!! I would like so much of it but can't afford any of it, a few nice Bossk items there, maybe I need to find some people who want to team up and help me bid on the other profs that it comes with. Good luck to anyone who is bidding.

Not really enough found to make a difference in price and desirability. How many loose fett harbert cardbacks are there. I think around the same number. Funny thing is, I saw a harbert fett cardback sell on eBay, but it belonged to blarth is memory serves. Oddly the droids must be more common, but I have yet to see a droids fett cardback. I only semi look for the cardbacks as it isnt a focus for me. Would like to get quite a few though if I could.

There are definitely a number of items in this auction I'd love to get my hands on, but they're simply out of reach for me right now. Maybe some day!
My favourites: Canadian 20back, 21back and Transition Fetts POTF Yak Face Revenge Vader Proof Wind-up R2 Canadian 7pack Regal Jawa 42inch Chewie JEJ Signed Saber (it'd display so awesome with my signed Vader case )
Good god, I'm starting to drool...
