| 2015 was the year I came back to the fold and started to buy again, so I didn't have any real aims.
2016- I would like to work on my loose collection (I've been trying to put it together now for far to many years.) I'd like to pick up all of the last 17 figures
Add a few MOC's to the collection but they will be cheap bargain ones I'm going to set myself a £50 max spend limit.
And slowly pick up a few Bossk items, after missing out on a 31 back (cheap) I'd like to get one of them but not at stupid money some of them are going for.
I'd also like 2016 to be the year that I get to meet a few of you at SW Celebration Europe

I never set goals since I don't really know what will come up in the foreign world. I did pick up some amazing items this year. Though as I sit here staring at a Uzay Headman and after swapping carded Blue Stars I have to say I wouldn't have imagined it. Also snagged a nice Harbert Snag, 20bk Fett, and some other great items.
I will say that I ran into 2 reseals which kind of cheesed me off a bit but luckily it was followed with some nice stuff.
As for 2015, same as 2014. Who knows!! I'm nothing if not consistent lol I didn't have a goal but I did manage to get my hands (finally) on a 12bk Meccano which was eluding me. Grabbed another Harbert Import Sticker ESB as well! Uzay Headman was short lived so he's with Patsy now happy to be surrounded by bootlegs. I did just get a graded Toltoys VCJ so it's pretty cool to have 2 Vinyl Jawas here. Maybe I need to set a goal to get it happen. So my 2016 goal is to get a Canadian Sears Vaccuform and/or ESB Square Meccano _________________________________________________ SHEESH!!!!i am not raping anyones childhood!!!! - Darren P.S. As for 2015:
1. Track down remaining POTF coins 2. Track down missing standard loose figures I am after and weapons (essentially so I can finish photography for my software project) 3. Continue refining and improving my software project 4. Grab the odd bargain or upgrade as opportunity knocks
1. No luck here, I didn't see any of the really rare expensive coins (sail skiff, luke hoth etc) up for sale this last year. 2. I think I have this one done. 3. This kept me very busy this year, but I like where it has ended up now -- this is my www.starwarstracker.com project. I even had a couple of guest interview slots on the vintage rebellion podcast. 4. I got the occasional item here and there, sold a few things, but generally stayed out of the market this year. Goals for 2016 -- No collecting goals really come to mind. Happy to be an observer in the market again next year. But I would like to work on the display of what I do have. I've been playing around with making my own custom acrylic cases for my figures. So hope to have a nice quality display done. At the moment they are all packed away which I'd like to change. Cheers, Jared. |

| Here were 2015s stated goals.
I think it's safe to say I suck at setting and achieving goals. But what the hell.
1. Indulge my Mego side. Already done this and have some Mego coming in the mail. I got a couple. The year turned into one of trying to pay down some debt. It worked a little. Being an adult sucks.
2. More Hulk toys. Again some in the mail. So goal starting early. Added a few new things. Really took a chunk out of my comics set. So goal met.
3. Vintage SW 12 inch line. I'll buy at least three this coming year. Wait and see. I have to or John will revoke my membership. Nope. Again. Maybe this year.
Goals for 2016:
1. Star Wars wise. I will pick up something from the vintage 12" line. I really want a nice complete Boba Fett. A Jawa would be nice too.
2. Pick up one of the original six issues of Incredible Hulk.
3. Add a nice Hulk statue to my shelves.
4. Going to Boston in March 2016. Maybe I can make a side trip and visit Joe Y and the Bootleg Museum. |

- I really didn't complete many of my set goals from last year. But did track down some amazing things. I also did find a POTF Jawa proof (thanks Jason West!) and made a ton of new SW friends. I downsized my collection some more and am concentrating on a few of my favorite things.2014 was another great year!
My goals for 2015 are short and sweet: -track down a 12 back Jawa proof card -find one Jessica Meade that I need for my run -track down a Leia Bespin 31 back proof card (got in a trade) -maybe track down another 1st shot from the "first 20" (got DSC 1st shot) -meet up with everyone at Celebration Anaheim (Had a blast!)
I'll be ecstatic if I can get one thing crossed off my list next year. I hope 2015 is a great for everyone! Thanks for making his hobby so darn fun. I can't wait to see Episode 7!! It was a pretty good year, for me. Didn't get a lot, but I picked up a few gems. Found my Leia Bespin 31 proof and one more first shot. Can't wait to see FA next week! I'm keeping my 2016 goals short & sweet: -Revenge At-At Walker proof -ROTJ proof card for Original Leia, Tuscan Raider, Greedo, or Boushh. -Revenge proof cards for my "first 21" run (10 more to go) The current market is crazy, so I'll be super excited if I can add one new preproduction item in 2016. Otherwise, I can be content to just enjoy and be thankful for what I have already. Happy collecting everyone!!

| Didn't have goals last year, but added some fantastic pieces to the collection.
I would love to pick up the droids line this year, as well as a proto vlix and possibly a vlix coin. Wish I had bought the one Kenner76 had as it was priced great. Also would love to add more ledy overstock or any ledy cardbacks. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Goal for 2016: 1. Complete my first set of figures (loose, complete) -- minus the VCJ.. for now! 2. Randomly buy pbp/poch, meccano, clipper variants of favorite figures. 3. Continue to be thrown off course by buying deals that come up of things I don't need. Aaaaaaaand go!

| 2015 has been an awful year for me personally and I'm glad to see the back of it. Really looking forward to 2016. Although it looks like I'll be having another op in Feb :-(
Collecting wise I've done great. Finished off my loose figures, minirigs, creatures and ships (except A-Wing). I also picked up a lot of vehicles and oddball items. Started an R5 focus and have around 20 MOCs and lots of loose and modern stuff.
So 2016 - needs to be more focused. Perhaps I'll:
1. Complete my 12" run (missing Han and a few accessories and that bloody Tusken Raider) 2. Complete my loose diecast (need bomber, falcon and apparently my Slave I has flown off somewhere) 3. Get more playsets (I don't have the room but i need several still. Mainly the cardboard ones) 4. Start on droids and ewoks loose 5. Finish my sigma mugs
But knowing me I'll do none of the above and pick up what I fancy at the right price |

| So I didn't write any goals for last year. Probably because I wasn't very active on the boards at the time and my collecting was not as active as well.
I think I will try to focus a little on my display this year. Try to add some displays and mostly get some posters up. I thought at the end of last year that I would continue my search for Trilogo MOC:s but I had to change that goal and really any other collecting goal. The Swedish currency has taken a dive and the dollar nad Euro have increased by about 25 % the last 3-4 months so it's not the time to buy for me at the moment. So I think I will lay very low until the Swedish currency will be stronger again. Together with Trilogo MOC:S I had thought of buying some MIB vehicles and playsets that I'm missing, but that will not happen either.
So if I don't stumble on any great items with great prices I think my buys will be very limited this year, at least the beginning of the year. Perhaps the Swedish currency will pick it self up and I can buy some stuff later this year.
So I think my focus for the year will be displays and getting posters framed and up on the walls. |
