Add red Squidhead for the top 5 (all $250 +) , top 10 would change too much- it just depends on who is buying at the time. Other $100+ complete figures would be Leia Bespin & poncho, C3PO removable, Fett fixed rocket , Rebo band , Jabba ......

I think the top-5 is as follows:

RR Boba
Burgundy Bib
CCP Complete
Jawa
Burgundy Squid

I agree with James that the top-6 till top-10 is quite dynamic.

..I wonder what will happen if one day a LL 1978 R2-D2 is offered on ebay, the price might go sky high. affraid

hi james buddy yes i know the ebay seller guaranteed_original is very disonist seller and more than half the ledys he has for sale is not even ledy
but i have seen this blaster on quite a few LL boba fetts in the past that is why i was asking if it was a ledy blaster
just seems so strange why so many LL boba fetts have this blue/black blaster unsure

so the top 2 pics the solid blue and the solid black are the only ledy blasters

so is it blue for LL boba fett ?

and black for LL stormtrooper ?

and what about bump under the magazine clip i have 3 ledy blasters 1 solid black no bump
1 solid blue no bump and anouther solid blue but it's got bump ?

Ungraded otherwise I couldn't check the COO Wink Yes it has the big/medium eyes. In theory I can't imagine more than one COO since it was a short production run but I think we need more people to confirm this. Not that AFA are always correct but small eye versions have been graded in the past.

So I recently picked up my first Vader with no COO. Using the guide here, I believe it's #9. But what exactly does that mean? When it comes to no COO figures, does the number in the guide correspond to a particular country of manufacture, since the COO isn't there to tell you directly?

The number in the guide is random & keep in mind the guide is just that- a guide (not complete & a work in progress)

Great thread!! I don't know how I missed that before!

So is there any documentation as to where a particular No COO variant was actually manufactured? For example, were all the raised bar variants produced in one particular place? Or the Made in Macau? How do you know which one that is once it's loose? There isn't an actually COO on a loose figure that denotes "Made in Macau" is there? Is it just on the card or baggie?

Sorry for the million questions, but loose variants are much trickier to get a grasp of for me than MOC variants. Those are easy, you just have to count the figures on the back! LOL!

Thanks again, James.

Okay all you bootleg-a-holics. I've read that the way to tell whether a Polish Bootleg is 1st Gen , 3rd Gen, etc., is the shape of the joints. Like first gens are cone shaped, and the others are round. So how do you tell? Do you literally yank the arm off to see what shape it is? I tried to gently remove a Vader arm, but I stopped because it feels like I'm going to break it.

what do you recon i am going by the letter f inside unpainted ledy over stock helmit or a paint stripped hong kong ?

it's been sold with a tiawan leia boushh but it is not a tiawan helmit as tiawan helmits don't have the letter in the helmit only a mold circle

here are the pics

It looks clean with no damage or signs of stripping - but i have heard that the Hong Kong helmets are very easy to strip. From the many threads I have read on the subject it seems to be generally accepted that all legitimate unpainted helmets are Taiwan.

I myself have 2 unpainted helmets. One is a Taiwan helmet which is duller and very flexible with a raised circle on the inside and larger in size than standard helmets. I believe this is considered signs of a genuine unpainted helmet. My other unpainted helmet (which looks similar to yours) is a Hong Kong helmet and is harder, brighter and less flexible and the same size as a normal helmet. I cant remember if it has lettering or a raised circle on the inside. It looks nice and shiny and I really like it but I also questions its legitimacy. I think the general consensus would be that it is not legit.

Did you pick it up on eBay recently? The pics look familiar.

I dont know much about Lili ledy so cant comment on whether its possibly overstock.

hi buddy no it is not mine i saw it for sale on ebay recently and was thinking of buying it
but wonded what you guys thought about it before i decided to buy it or not

yes i have seen the tiawan version more flexable bigger in size and the mold circle so i know it is not that one

the only other version that is out there that i know of is the ledy over stock helmet
the ledy one has the letter inside and is more glossy so it looks like it could possibly be a ledy helmit
but having said that the hong kong version allso has the letter but i thought the hong kong one was more bright orange in colour but you can never tell for shure with pics

i have decided not to buy it as there is too much yes or no or maybe with these helmits to be shure

cheers jase

I thought the style of those pictures looked familiar. I'd be careful about buying anything from guaranteed_original. It's ironic considering the name but he is known for selling fakes and I remember hearing about a couple of his scams recently. I would avoid it. There is an AFA graded one currently selling for the same price - i'd go with that!
