Hey Jase,

Maybe these pics are helpfull to you.

Lily Ledy with overstock helmet

First Shot Boushh, Ledy with overstock helmet and Taiwanese unpainted X 2

You can clearly see that the Ledy overstock helmet is more glossy than the unpainted Taiwan helmets. The colour is also different, less orange.

Taken from Chaz' limelight.

hey guys,
i'm new on the scene, i'm just after digging my vintage stuff out of the attic and i'm filling in the gaps of my collection, loose items to start off with as i'm going with a diorama display, and i have a very basic question to ask - newer figures are easy to spot because of the extra joints but how does one spot newer vehicles if they're loose and the seller's description is vague? is it safer just to avoid such items and wait for clearer descriptions?

Hi and Welcome to TIG, all modern vehicles were painted differently, if you see a pic of the modern vehicle and vintage vehicle you will see the difference!

got me some stands in the post, thanks

and i got a couple more random questions Rolling Eyes -

about the B-wing,
I've never had my hands on one and I'm wondering will they stand propped at an angle with the wings open? resting on one open wing and the tail? or are they top heavy?

also, about the green dagobah set,
i can't post photos yet but there's one on e-bay with really stong green colours on both the tree and the ground piece, how common is this? i way prefer it to the colours on the box.

Lately, I've heard people discuss Star Wars 12-D card backs, but on the SWCA card back reference page, it's not mentioned. Is the 12-D the same as a SW 32 back (Being the 12 back with the additional 20 back sticker on the bottom)? Or is there really a different 12 back variation that I need to track down?

Don't know if I am in the right section but what's a good price to pay for SW Mini rigs in box? is like 20-30 dollars a good deal?

I don't think a general answer can be given as it very much depends on which minirig it is. Also of great importance are the quality of the contents and box.

I have a couple of Qs...The first is how do I tell if an accessories from the Kenner Rebo band is original if I don't have it in hand? Anyone got any close up pics they are willing to provide? Next involves the price of a Death Star Playset. I have been researching the Playset for a while as I am in the market for one. Honestly this is kind of a grail piece for me as I have wanted one for a long time. What I would like to know is what is a reasonable price for a real nice one with but not in a nice box, and every thing works? I have seen such a variation in pricing on ebay and other places.

Alright thanks for the info. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on it as I was told by the seller they are original. So when I do get them in hand what do I need to look for/do to determine whether or not they are authentic?

Fake mics do not float if placed under water ( I'm not sure about real ones) they are also quite brittle.
