| tatooine- the figures in the original line are my favorites with the hoth esb line being a close second. I love the earliest scenes in the ot as they are what blew my mind when I was young . ben , luke , the jawas, the sandpeople ...love all of these figures now and 35 years ago also . |

| Needless to say I am a rotj kid so of course that is my favorite era/lineup. Jabbas palace people and then the ewoks who come in and help save the day for the rebellion. Don't get me wrong the other lines were good, but only in return of the jedi were they able to defeat the empire for good (at least we thought for good until Disney wanted to make more movies). This combined with the fact that my greatest star wars toy memory is tied to wicket is why I choose that lineup. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| The line that holds the most meaning to me is the HOTH (ESB) toys, purely because empire was the first star wars film I saw at the cinema and its when my dad started buying me the toys, my first star wars toy memories are getting my Stormtooper on a ESB card after a day out with him. I just love everything about the toys I mean you have got the - AT AT (whats not to like about this toy? playing with one was the best thing ever and they look great on display in a collection) - Snowspeeder - Snowtrooper ( One of the best figures to be in the vintage line) - All the bounty hunters (No explanation needed) - Wampa (I loved this as a child, and as a collector I love the box art of the wampa) - Dagobah play set - (This is the one thing I really wanted and never got as a kid and as a collector I have still not got one ) The empire line was the birth of the mini rig (that brought Star Wars vehicles to kids whose parents were not as well of as others ) |

| I have no idea why it does that. If you look at the movie thread prizes the photos are all every which way. The Ipad did that as I took the photos all the same. I have no idea why it flipped some but sometimes it does for some reason. Stinking technology. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Andy, love that Popy Good QOTW. Although I think ROTJ's Jabba and his palace crew is awesome, and ESB has cool vehicles and bounty hunters. For me it's the nostalgia factor of Tatooine, the cantina, the aliens, X-Wing and TIE battles and first 12 that really push buttons. I think they totally nailed the alien/hostile atmosphere by setting that first film on a sandy landscape. One of my favourite scenes is when Luke is attacked by the Tusken Raider (scared me lots as a kid). The cantina scene and band are totally cool too. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

| I'm screwed here, Bespin was my favorite!
Between the three , I gotta go with ROTJ. Just an amazing amount of colorful, well sculpted figures. I think it's amazing that the're the least valuable and yet some of the most well done _________________________________________________ SHEESH!!!!i am not raping anyones childhood!!!! - Darren P.S. | Although not my favourite film from the original trilogy ROTJ came out at the time I was old enough play with the toys. The ROTJ figures have the best sculpts and accessories in the toy range, I loved my lando skiff and leia boussh figures as a kid _________________________________________________ * Wanted: Lili Ledy, Glasslite, Meccano, Kenner Canada Instruction Sheets, $$$$ waiting!! * Visit My Vintage Paperwork Limelight Click Me! * To Visit The Glasslite Guide & Discussion Thread Click Me! | Being born in 77 most of my SW purchases were from the ROTJ era and the play sets I still have from childhood are the Jabba stage and sail skiff. I also ended up with the majority or Endor/Ewok characters. Far more than any other line or film sequence.
Despite this the majority of my childhood battles were between Vader, Stormtrooper vs Luke Farmboy and Han (Bespin).
I could not really choose to like one more than the other, but the ROTJ figures were certainly my era of figure.

| I really want to jump on the Tatooine wagon...but I can't.
ROTJ for me. First movie I saw, one of the first video games I played (Super Nintendo), and then there was this full on Wicket mask/hood and all that was insanely close to movie quality at this Halloween place I had seen for 3 years in a row which I really wanted as a kid (and now to think about it, it'd look pretty spot on having a kid walk around with it), but never got!
