| Does it float or sink?
Here is the yoda cane section on the main site: http://www.imperialgunnery.com/otheraccessories.htm
The color looks like one of the so called potf/meccano canes but I have never seen one with this amount of flashing before. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| I've honestly never seen one like that. Looks weird.
But if it floats .... it's a fake.
All of mine sink in water |

| Hi Trapped,
Thanks for the reply. It does sink. I did check the main site before posting, but it does not mention if any authentic sticks are bendable, only that the 2014 repros are bendable for a few weeks before turning brittle.
The main question I have is, are there authentic sticks that are bendable like the one that I have, or are they all rigid? |

| Some authentic ones are flexible. These are found with the potf/meccano as I mentioned earlier. Here is a thread where you can see Stefan is bending his in the pic he posted. Wolff confirms his are flexible also. https://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t6736-meccano-yoda-vs-potf-yoda?highlight=potf+yodaNote that the color is very similar if not identical to what you have, yet the flashing is not present. I have never seen one with so much flashing, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't exist. Flashing just means the molds didn't seat quite right and had a bit of bleed in the plastic as it was being formed. Since these are made in two part molds coming together it is possible that they had a run that the molds didn't seat quite right. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Thanks again Trapped for the info about the meccano version. It does seem to fit my Yoda, even the color is nearly identical. The Yoda that the Gimer Stick came with has black eyes as well. |

| Thanks for sharing the pics. I've never seen that much flashing before. Bryan's explanation is good I think and in the thread he linked you can see some flashing present (I think) on one of AJ and Stef's pics. Not as much as is present on yours but some. _________________________________________________ Paul F,
