This is my first post here, but have been on RS for 15 years or so. I just received this Luke Farmboy from eBay - and the saber sinks. But after reading the details of the float test I realize it still might be legit. I've embedded detailed pictures, can anyone tell from them if it's a repro or real? Thanks in advance! Drew

The hilt looks wrong, the round tip is neither round or flat. There currently is repros made that are 99.9% match, the coloured plastic they use is scary as its a complete match, they even glow, like the original.

Thanks guys - should I send it back? I can return it - it's still within the 45 days (bought on ebay and guy said it's original).

| I think if you're still able to, then go for it.. especially if the collectible draws a "red flag" right off the bat.

Drew that depends on the circumstances. You could send it back, but ebay rules may not force him to pay the return shipping. You would need to send it signature in order to have paypal coverage for the case. Depending on what you paid for the figure or where it was sometimes it is cheaper to keep it honestly. If the seller is a good seller he will offer to pay for the return shipping but ebay doesn't force them to.
