| I am by no means an expert on DT sabers but I do know on the ones I have seen while doing research of weapons yours looks pretty good if you look at the other side of the handle is there a raised bump or any letters I know there were ones with both but not sure if they came with no markings at all. But from what I can see it looks good. Here is the bump location I am referring to. Hope this helps Larry |

| Thanks for the reply Larry. I'll do a hilt bump check. Edit: checked and there's no bump as far as I can see. There is a small circle on the other side of the hilt from where you thought that bump may be. I haven't been able to capture it on a photo as yet.
Theres definitely no letters, which from my research so far holds up for a circles DT. |

Thanks aj. I had read through that thread while my Luke was in transit, but reading it again now having had the Saber in hand means a lot more to my wee brain. Mostly what I've taken out of that is the need for a magnifying glass and a black light. |

| I couldn't see the bump on the side in your photo when I looked I don't believe there is one on both sides but I could be wrong on that.
And yes a small black light is great to have, mine is a laser pointer sized one which I take to toy shows everyone I checked has glowed the repos didn't.

Larry It's a small indented circle, rather than a bump on that side that I've photographed. Not visible in the pics though. I'll get a magnifying glass and see what it really looks like. I haven't identified a bump on the other side with the naked eye, but really need to take a closer look to be sure. Thanks again. |

| The pictures for me don't show the detail needed to determine if it is a legitimate circle variant. The circles run up and down the shaft of the saber. I am unable to see any of those circles in the pics posted. It may be I am unable to blow up the image so I don't see them though. Also take a picture of the hilt end facing down the length of the saber trying to see the actual opening. So remove the inner or slide it forward at least. _________________________________________________ Bryan
