| I'm no expert, but I have the same figure. Dark hair with textured paint job on right side of hair along with the face. I believe the dark hair is more rare than the blonde hair Luke because it is more expensive on Ebay. |

Much appreciated i looked in to this further and he seems to be the dark haired US variant but i dont know why his plastic is different in that i was concerned he was a bootleg as he smells like rubber compared to my other Farmboys i didnt know if this was common to the US variant. I only paid £20 for him so genuinely just thought as he was so reasonably priced that he may be a repro and as you say he is in good condition |

| actually in the big scheme o things he is quite common . that doesn't mean he isn't rarer than the blonde hair lukes because yes hes rarer as he was produced later .
there are many luke variants that are much rarer poch , pbp , glasslite , meccano etc ..... but yes dark haired farmboys get much more money than blondie usually
who knows why he smells that way . hes no repro , for now at least we don't have to worry about repro figures that are so similar to the real thing we would be frightened to get burned . as I said for now . only the person who owned him previously can tell you why he smells .
give him a warm water and soap bath and see if that helps |

Wow yeah for me its about owning one too i am just moving house and i have bought a large cabinet for the living room so i am going to display all my pieces cant wait to actually see them all together i will then be uploading some pics as i dont know really what half of mine are and i have a few odd balls to say the least.. You seem to know a little i have a Ledy Luke Bespin he has a bespin blaster that looks metallic and the correct saber as i checked that on here. Is he valuable again not something i would ever sell but he is mint totally beautiful much like my Brown haired farm boy i mean indicative value only i dont pay a lot for my figures as i just collect them as and when i see them.. Some of my friends have there figures from forums and ebay delivered to work now to avoid the eyes of the wives.... i am alright my end as mine just divorced me but still careful on prices lol |
