| just kidding ... well kind of -------------- SO , my best friend (his name is Drew) calls me today to ask me if im going to be home to sign for a package . i said yeah sure why . he says be on the lookout . Ok so we talk for a while on the phone and i think nothing of it as we get each other stuff all the time . we've been brothers since 1982 yep 35 years . i got hurt at work last year and need a second surgery on my left shoulder and it hasnt been easy although my work is paying for it . so he says as i press him for info "dont worry about it , its just a little pre op present . i know youve had a tough time for a year . cool once again i let it go ... my mailman shows up no package... no biggie (i think) anyways my wife says "the mailmans back" she signs for the package and i open it and my jaw hits the ground . a burgundy cape bib fortuna he won on ebay for me . of course i call him and tell him i cant accept this and he says , its yours brother enjoy . now i know thgis is a very heavily faked item out there and one i never thought id own . there are some questions i have but i have to say it looks 100% legit . i wanted to let everyone see the bib to maybe help authenticate him but also to tell this story because honestly im in shock . if hes real i will have him graded because the cape is super fragile . it will be my ONLY graded figure as you all have seen what i do to figures i get that are graded. im very lucky to have a friend that truly is my brother for one thing and it will always be a reminder of how lucky i am to have people like this in my life . ive done alot for him with no intention of ever being "repayed " in any way shape or form . he wasnt hearing of my pleas to return it ... thanks drew my brother ... YOU RULE... let me know what the experts think enough babbling ..... my burgundy caped bib fortuna SICK!!!!!! the cape was taken in natural light the figure pictures in unnnatural light . i have read ozios thread on him and have to say mine doesnt match any of those repros . i will take more pictures if necessary . the stitches inside my cape are not red . under where bibs tentacle is on his back a tiny bit of the red fluff remains . the fabric is unlike any i own . any help would be appreciated . when the sun comes up i'll take a picture of the complete figure in natural light . on a side note mine looks exactly like wolffs on his sight . i sure hope hes real ... if not i will send him to my friend back to seller for a refund . |

| Bill i don't see anything that would make me think it is a reproduction. The inside stitching and material looks correct, the figure looks correct, the staff looks darker which is correct for this variant. Cant say on the chest plate as it is harder to see. But everything looks good to me. Given the condition I wouldn't grade it, if you want to encase it be acrylic makes some really nice cases that figures can go in but can be reopened easily. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| thanks Bryan , i was definetely waiting to hear from you on it . my buddy paid 600$ which i think for a legit example is a really good price .a bit crazy but like i said weve been brothers for 35 years ... the reason i was thinking of having it graded is because the coat is so fragile that even when i took it off the figure it lost some miniscule threads . thats really the only reason ... cheers dude |

| Congrats Bill, what an amazing gesture and cool story!! I can't add anything else to say if it's genuine or not sorry. Other than Bryan, the only person I know of who could probably tell is Ozio. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

| That is a great story and an amazing friend you have there! I don't know how to verify if it's legit, but those here who say it looks good know their stuff. I would tend to agree on the not grading, but the acrylic case for display is probably a good idea. |

| What great story and thanks for sharing! I am so glad I reading this now, when we have the happy ending, as waiting 3 weeks for Ozio's authentication would of killed me and it not even my figure! Lol Great photos too! And I hope you have a speedy recovery! |
