| Were they originally sort of loose on his arms and legs? I think I remember they were a bit looser than the others. |

| Hey Broke, it's possible, probably just not very common...
I thought I remembered them to be a little loose too, but I had a removable limbs one... I just remember his leg falling off every time he went for a spin in my flea market Landspeeder...

| Actually they were so tight new they put that on card behind c-3po! Says his joints are stiff and firmly grasp...I can't find a pic but the warning is on all the non removable limbs cardbacks behind figure! K |

Thanks for the info, I did not know about the instructions for the limbs... I actually looked at my figures and I do have a first issue C-3PO with pretty tight limbs... The removable limbs is what I had as a kid, and I just remember him getting pretty loose over time... made for a fun figure to shoot though, lol |

| Yeah it takes patience and time. I must've gone through 20+ c3po's before I found any mint ones with tight limbs - I've kept only 2 (one more or less silver and one very gold colored) that had tight limbs (not including the later removable limbs version). I think 3PO was one of the core/most popular figures to play with so they tended to get loose through over play. Its also possible it may have something to do with the metallic paint not providing as much friction as other figures? dunno, just guessing.
