| Well, being a vintage snob has hit a roadblock. I bought my first modern piece. Its a cool prototype clone trooper. It was inexpensive and looks neat! Nevertheless, I feel dirty LOL Anyone who was all vintage cross the line? _________________________________________________ SHEESH!!!!i am not raping anyones childhood!!!! - Darren P.S. | I'm with aussie... I have almost rid myself of all modern as well... I still have a legacy AT-AT and Falcon, because the scale for those was amazing. I also have some modern VC Figures, and 2 1990's POTF2 Skiffs... I have had a hard time giving those up though because I mainly have Jabba's palace and skiff people, and Tatooine people too along with some astromech droids, and the desert themed SW stuff has always been my favorite... Nevertheless, I still feel like beating myself up for buying some Force Awakens stuff... Its was fun because I spent time with my brother that I otherwise would not have gotten, but now I have some Disney and Hasbro figures that mean nothing to me....
DarthBerizing, don't feel dirty man, at least its a prototype, and there is only a certain amount of those to go around... There is nothing wrong with being a vintage snob and picking up a modern item from time to time... I recently bought a 90's Slave Leia carded on the cheaps for my vintage Jabba the Hutt playset display... At least the card still said Kenner, I just hope I don't go to action figure hell for opening her... but she cost me less carded than she would have loose, go figure...

| Those 90s potf leias are some fugly figures. I have tons of modern, most in boxes stashed in the attic along with the vintage vehicles and playsets I don't have room for in my display. I would sell, but pennies on the dollar is not appealing to me. I figure with the cheap prices I may as well keep them and they can eventually be bb gun targets for my son or something. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Yeah, I agree with Machinegunn, nothing dirty about having a prototype. although ... it's a slippery slope you just started down... it only takes one to start the ball rolling, before you know it you're a moderns collector, and there'll be no rescuing you from that, wow I think you're on you're own mate! This is my extensive moderns collection... the eps 1 ones just came by accident in a bunch of other randoms, but the Lucas Stormy I liked the idea of and I collect artwork by McQuarrie so it seemed sensible to have his cameo figure. |

Wow! Great stuff. I can't commit to anything at this time, but what would you be asking for the Shaak Ti test shot? |

| That Luke X-Wing is one of the top five figures in the line. I remember how excited I was to pull it straight from a case at my local Target. It's great to see him have a re-release, although as a convention exclusive is a pretty shit way for them to do it. Hundreds of collectors are still trying to get this guy, and Hasbro finally brings the mold back out, only to screw half the collecting community once again. |

That sucks donkey balls man... Just another reason why I stay away from modern... Tired of fighting the hoard, the scalpers, and Hasbro's inventory problems-sheer stupidity... Not to mention all the gas wasted running around town hoping to find something... I feel bad when I hear that people want something and they just can't get it... Sucky! |

| I have the 40th Anniversary carded Luke XWP. Not gonna' lie.. it's pretty awesome. But the prices are not. They sold out within a day at Celebration and I remember vendors having them for $125-150+ Wave 11 is out now so the new hunt begins... |

| Awesome test shot! I don't collect production modern anymore, but recently have gotten a soft spot for POTF2 preproduction. I have fond memories hunting around town for those figures when they came out, so picking up a test shot now & then feels good. One usually leads to more... |
