| Bill, This is awesome man!! Thank you so much for taking the time to take all these photos and post them! I love the R5 gallery, and I can totally see the rectangle that you were talking about. I also really love the no coo Euro version, and that poch Spain one is my favorite!! Thanks so much again for posting these photos man... I am going to try to find some time to photograph my R5's and add them to this thread ... I have always had an affinity for the droids, and I just love seeing these photos of multiple figures together, especially when there are different variants, or even different conditions... Thanks again! |

| Bill, I borrowed your pic to show this. In case anyone doesn't know the rectangle being referenced I enlarged Bill's pic and pointed with a blue arrow in the first pic. In the second pic it was easier to see the rectangle on one of the non red colored ones but I circled it. On "red rectangle" versions that box is filled in with red. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Thank God, I must have looked over those figures 10 times for any variance and couldn't find one thing. I chalked it up to old eyes. |

| I only have 3 or 4 R5's in my collection. While I have heard about the red rectangle variant, I don't have one. How much more rare are they compared to the white? |

| I don't know that there are specific numbers regarding rarity. I can say a check on eBay revealed the following : 3 active items listed for r5d4 red rectangle, 156 active items listed for r5d4 vintage. This is roughly 1 in 50 and surprisingly holds up for the completed part also with 6 red rectangles and around 300 vintage so again was 1 in 50 (the number was not exactly 300 but was like 304 or something, I didn't write it down exact).

| I never knew that there were that many R2D4s, thanks for sharing and for showing us the red rectangle. Yes I also stared hard at that photo to see where it was, with no avail. Thanks for putting me out of my misery Bryan |

| Oh nuts, just when you think you're done another R5 variant jumps out the woodwork (or should I say Jawa transporter)! I guess I've gotta get looking again... Thanks for sharing this info Bill! Much appreciated! |
