Seems like my supposedly discoloured boba fett is an official variant in this Spanish handbook. Listed as "extremidades claras" boba fett. From left to right: lili ledy, hk, extremidades claras boba fett, Taiwan, trilogo, meccano.

Translated it means: "clear limbs" or "clear tips"

Just another way of saying discolored. The figure did not leave the factory with different colored limbs to torso. This discoloration is common on certain Hong Kong fetts due to the plastic used. Not a variant really, but some count it as such. Falls in the same category as the green limbed chewbacca.

Note also my light limbs fett comes with a painted front right pouch.

Interesting thing is that this light limbs fett has a yellow coloured front light pouch, which is something not seen before. Painting mistake perhaps?

Yellow vs orange paint is an ongoing point of discussion and seen elsewhere, ie. in Wolff's pic the big C Fett

To me that paint mark would indicate something else. Either touch up (unlikely since it is a different shade of yellow as far as I can tell) or at some point a rub occured with something that had that yellow on it. Even before the degradation on the fett, I don't believe that yellow would have matched the paint used on the figure.

The yellow might be a bit different on the photos, but in real life it is 100 percent exactly the same Colour. Try seeing these two photos again.

What does the yellow signify? To you it must mean something I am missing. To me it is an error at best, proof of customizing at worst. It was not planned by kenner or any other factory to place a dot on the pouch. Not to mention behind the dot the brown doesn't appear to be covering well so the yellow is also maybe partially covering wear or lack of good spray coat. To you it seems to signify something important. I am honestly asking as I don't see it being anything of importance.

As I think the yellow was applied last, I see it as a touch up by an employee .
