| Hi broke, From one whisky man to another... (slurp).... $275 seem a little high to me bud, but I have been out of collecting for a good while... so everything seems expensive too me Maybe if you consider you paid $37.50 for each case, then that's $200 for all the figures and weapons - divide that by the number of figures you picked up and you can work out the average price you paid for each figure... plus the accessories - they always help add a few pennies. I note you have 2 speeder bike flaps - I am sure someone on this forum said they needed to source some flaps for their bike. Aside from the business end, I have liked the Darth case since I first saw it in gold on Steve Sandsweet's concept to collectable book. Nice pick-ups though! |

| Nice find Weapons wise, non Star Wars, you've got one G.I.Joe weapon (the crossbow for Scarlet) & from Mattels Battlestar Galactica, the rifle for the Cylon Centurion |

| I am not up on today's market prices so cant speculate as to if it was a good price or not. If the breakdown was $5 per figure i would imagine you did pretty good. I see a complete set of the band mics and flute as well as alternate black mics (though the silver flute is missing for that set) so those are fairly desirable I think, there is a decent mix of weapons. Not sure the silver gun is star wars. It looks like it tabs into a ship or something but off the top of my head I don't readily recognize it. In that same pic, under the bike flap on the right is what appears to be a bomb or missle that I bet is a Joe item. _________________________________________________ Bryan

Yeah I have 2 Sy Snootles complete with mics. Then 2 extra mics and a silver and black flute. They just don't have the other figures to go with them. So I guess I'll either sell those mics and flutes or pick up the figures. It's a tough call. The more I'm digging into this buy the more I think it's going to work out well. When I get everything cleaned and the correct weapons assigned to each figure I'll post another pic. |

| Something's not right looking on the squidhead. Is that possibly a pruneface cape or Luke Jedi cape? _________________________________________________ Bryan

This is why I'm here. It's totally possible. Let me check my poster to see. YES, totally a prune face cape. It's too light for Luke Jedi Cape. Thanks. There were 4 vader cases full of figures. I think there was a lot of mix and match. If we could only all get together to swap the original parts/accessories. The seller knew nothing about star wars. |

| The pic you labeled as unrecognizable. The crossbow is a gi Joe scarlet crossbow I think. The purple cloth is an ugnaught tunic, the brown rifle is a prune face rifle. The black bomb I referred to earlier I think it belongs to a gi Joe. Cant recall for sure which one. The silver gun I dont recognize off hand and the band with two circles I have no idea either.
Also, compare the teebo accessories. The extra ones look like the "white" or "bone white" ones. This is often called a variation but might be discoloration/degradation. Either way some call it a variant and generally associate this to trilogo cards of the figure.
http://www.yojoe.com/action/82/scarlett.shtml There's the Scarlet figure with that crossbow. A good site for identifying possible Joe items is the whobit site. It searchable by color then type. Not sure it is 100% complete, but a good resource to have. http://www.yojoe.com/action/whobit/ _________________________________________________ Bryan

Looks like you done well Broke! Pretty sure that Craig is right on the silver gun. I even looked at a group pic of the mini rigs to see if I recognized the gun and completely missed it. _________________________________________________ Bryan

I've also found that strange things like these mic stands and flutes are the expensive part. The figures are cheap compared to them. I'll probably pick up the entire Max Rebo band and then I'll still have 2 extra stands and a flute. Should I keep the black pair or the silver pair? |

| Hi Broke,
Craig T is right, prices now are a little bit crazy but it's a decent deal
For example in the early 2000's i Bought 90 figures with around 60 weapons, including five "last 17" and some valuable figures like yoda + 2 cases ( Vader and C3PO ) + wampa boxed. I paid 200$ plus 50$ with postage costs ( usa/france ). So you can see the difference with the actual market. |

| Hi, Just a suggestion... If you gave the Snowtroopers rifle to Dengar, that'd give you %100 complete Dengar for your collection. |

| I would say you did really good on the price if the weapons are all originals then you are laughing.
Myself I would keep all the accessories as they are getting harder to find for example the Endorsed Blaster next to the bikerscout one is $50 and up if its black you can almost triple that price. Speaking of the scout blaster it almost looks like there is a letter on the grip in the small circle if so it's most likely a lili left one. I have gotten really good when it comes to knowing what is worth keeping and the figures are always inexpensive the weapons even the most common is near the $20 mark.
Of course price does also go on where you live and if your selling locally and not on line as well. The old saying supply and demand is still the way it works.
Hopefully that helps you out.
Larry. |

| It is amazing how much you can learn if you stay a part of an active forum, I had no idea that's how you can tell if the biker scout gun has come from a LL factory. |

| Careful with the Ensor blaster, it's not clear on the picture , but it must have detailed ridges, and cannot look like it's being dissolved by acid. If it's not defined, it could be a repro. Indeed lili ledy scout blasters are darker In Colour and are lettered. |

Ok I think I have 2 of them so I'll take a pic of both of them close up. After I clean them good. They had years of grime and dirt on them. But they all clean up nicely. The hand is much different from my other Luke. The other one has a thumb that comes around farther allowing him to hold the rifle. |

| Fairly sure it is a short shot hand. Short shots occur when the injector did not shoot enough plastic into the mold and thus the plastic did not fill the mold entirely. Generally the identifiers for this type of occurance are less defined detail (all the way down to partial coo marking or no coo marking to less defined fingers or other molded detail depending on the piece). If it had been shrinkage we would see the hand defined but it would be smaller than usual yet still fully formed. This is more or less an error and some people actually collect error figures. I like short shot errors better than paint spray mask errors when paint is missing as these are not faked easily. Paint missing can mean it was there but removed so the seller can cash in on the paint not being there. _________________________________________________ Bryan
