Watching the news last night brought it home to me how precious we are and how powerful mother nature really is.

The video footage & pictures are horrendous. Fingers crossed for everyone in affected areas.

We have a place in Orlando. Or maybe we don't. Who knows. I'll leave in 3 weeks to check on it.

It's just crazy. To see how fast a town can just be devastated.

Yes from what I seen and heard it's pretty bad, everyone take care. Our thoughts and prayers are with all our American neighbours at this time.

Like everyone else has said so far, thoughts and prayers go out to anyone going through hardships because of the hurricane.

It wasn't until yesterday that I realized just how far these storms have effected people. Jim lives in South Carolina and said they have been getting rains and winds and power outages from this. My thoughts and prayers with all those who feel the effects of this storm.

Could have been worse... Water damage in a couple of rooms from some wind driven rain that got in through windows/shutters, and some detached barrel tiles that I already tacked down until we can get a roofer... Lots of vegetation damage, but no complaints man... Happy to have a home and power....
