I have this Hong Kong Vader that came in a collection I bought, i'm a bit unsure about the cape though, it has more of a slightly thicker leathery texture to it compared to the other vinyl capes I have and it doesn't do the zipping sound, on the right side of the cape it has kind of a step in the cape which from some research i've been doing may suggest it's a PBP cape ? Any ideas ? Please see pics below, thanks

I don't think I met you yet so welcome to the group. As far as what I can see and going by the ones I have already, as far as the cape I would say it's OK from my best knowledge, that being said and looking at the figure a few things pop out already. Looking at the saber and over all figure I would say it's a lili ledy the saber tip is thicker then a North American one. As far as I know it's the only one with a thick saber tip, you can also check the end on the handle to see there are any letters mine has a "J" on it. If the figure has no COO on the leg then it's from some place other then China.

Hopefully this helps they are others who have more knowledge on Vader's from other parts of the world here so hopefully they will be able to assist more in identifying it.

Cape looks right to me, but best bet is to contact Oscar as his focus is vader. I will get his username and put it in here in a second.

Not sure about the saber, doesn't really resemble a ledy for me but might be as a lot of pbp imported ledy stuff. The main defining points of a ledy are the thicker tip and a different plastic that is almost waxy and translucent to me (others may describe it differently)

Man I don't realise how many tips look the same or very close in appearance, Are the Ben and Luke ones like that as well. I will need to see about that as well now. If that's the case it will make telling what's what very tough for me, unless they have a letter or something on the hilt that is unique to each one.

I have not seen a side by side like this for the Ben or Luke sabers, but yes logically they would be the same.

For instance, Ben was released by ledy and his saber is the same as Vader with a thicker tip (the thin tip ledy was only on Vader far as I know). I will see if I can find a focus collector who may have some comparison pic similar to this Vader one, but haven't seen one done by anyone.
