 | Subject: Why do some L.F.L.1980 MIHK Bespin Hans and Denglars have info on wrong legs? Sat Apr 25, 2020 12:38 pm | |
| These particular Hans are MIHK and have the copyright for L.F.L (notice no last period). The 2lined L.F.L. & 1980 are on the right leg and have a 2 line Made in Hong Kong on the left leg. The figures with the reverse legged info is not just on the Hans but also on a specific Denglar from 1980 L.F.L. MIHK. These are oddball pieces that share a hard to find color which shows that they may have been made around the same time and factory. For the Hans it is the color of his hair that looks like they mixed brown and purple together. On the Denglars it is the color of most of his outfit. If Denglars outfit is that color then he will have the reversed info on his legs just like the Hans. If anyone has any of these 2 then let me know by pm if you are willing to sell it. They aren’t expensive figures they just share some weird qualities and weird are the only things that I collect just as a way to kill time because I’m permanently disabled and have nothing to do. If you want to see the color I am talking about just look on my latest posts. Ignore the true purple haired Han and look at his normal hair colored brothers. Any help would be greatly appreciated? I find that there are a bunch of factory mistakes on these figures for some unknown reason such as having 2 different colored legs. |

| The thing about molds is they changed factories, thus changing hands. Kenner used multiple factories, most in Hong Kong, but some in Taiwan and China to make figures. The reason coo changes occur is either the mold wore out and things like periods or even parts of the words themselves in some cases broke out. Other changes was when they filled in the coo, or changed the country completely. There are red snags for instance with parts of hong and Kong missing, there are figures with partial scars on the coo where they filled but didn't fill completely, there are many different and varying marks. https://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t8072-tig-reference-guides-lili-ledy-poch-pbp-glasslite-top-toys-droids-x-wings-pre-production-and-moreYou can read more about molds and whatnot in some of the reference links here. _________________________________________________ Bryan
