I was about to sell this cut card Bossk when I noticed a strip of plastic behind the figure. Thought I’d get some opinions before I pass this one along. This does not appear to be a recard.
Thanks

Search for plastic strip behind figure on rebelscum and you will find multiple threads talking about this. I will attach one such example. https://forum.rebelscum.com/threads/was-this-a-dt-ben-moc.1106530/
It is fairly common but there seems to be no rhyme or reason behind which figures got the treatment. It is assumed this was done to protect the painted figure from the ink in the cardback but as far as I know nothing has ever been definitively said as to why it was done, and no reason on why some figures got it and some didnt.

I’ve never come across this before and figured it was a random mistake. Good info. Thanks for answering my inquiry.

I've seen this before and I believe it was a Biker Scout. I don't have many carded figures, but I will check what I have and see if any of them have this strip. Is that Bossk a ROTJ or an ESB cardback? For some reason I think they only did it with ROTJ figures, but I could be wrong.
