| I just read about that on RS. Theres no length that scammers wont go these days. This gives more credence to only buy items like the DT's from a respectible person that you trust. Just a sad day in the vintage world. :crying: |

| geez fake dt saber's will start popping up everywhere.what a shame nothing is sacred.the guy doing this is actually using a real single telescoping saber and highly modifying it to look like a real dt base.then he add's the fake inner piece..well thank goodnees the dt luke, the dt ben and the dt vader are required to be sent only to tom when you have them afa.regular afa won't touch them, only tom will certify them and i know if he see's the repro saber he'll deny them.i hope. :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: :nailbiting: Dan. |

| $155- you can buy a real Luke DT saber for that much. OK a Ben & Vader is worth lots more- at least the inner sabers don't look real at all. |

| Tbh they look shite, hollowing out a regular saber is gonna be messy, plus like james said those inners look nothing like legit ones. Its a scary thought, and one day someone may perfect it, but these look shoddy imo so im not too worried....yet |

| Is this the same guy making the fake's?
If so i feel sorry for whoever buy's it.
The auction say's it's real. Not a single mention of custom or repro.
If this is real is'nt it worth like $20 grand?I think Brian's toy's has a real AFA one for that much.
Can someone else help look in to this. Is this a fake he's selling for real.
Dan. |

| Ya i can't beleive this guy has the nerve to sell this as real and take someone's hard earned money.
There's a lot of missguided guy's out there.
I wish i could contact the two bidder's and give them a head's up.
I don't want them to lose there ass on this.
This is a total red alert.
Do you think if i call ebay they will let me get in contact with the buyer's.
I fkn hate scammer's and i don't want these guy's to lose their ass.
Maybe i could get them on TIG to educate them on Vintage and the scammer's out there.

| I just caught up with this post... fucking hell!
How did they manage to drill a perfect bore in something so flexible?
I was wandering Dan...
Did you eventually get through to the bidders and save them for from being ripped off?
